Arlington mayor ousted over lingerie photo

Arlington mayor ousted over lingerie photo

The mayor of Arlington has been voted out because of pictures on the web of her posing in lingerie. The tiny town of about 500 had a recall vote this week, and Carmen Kontur-Gronquist lost by three votes. Her official last day as mayor was Tuesday.
Now, she will be selling autographed copies of the infamous photo. Some of the proceeds will go to the local health department. The photo depicts Kontur-Gronquist posing in front of a city fire truck. It was taken for a fitness competition, and Kontur-Gronquist says it was posted by some of her family members online before she even became mayor. Still, she says she has no regrets, and calls herself the victim of "Small-town politics." Ironically, the photo was originally posted on Carmen Kontur-Gronquist's friends-only area of her MySpace page, where the general public couldn't see it. Since the recall controversy erupted however, the photo has been widely aired on television and on nationally known web sites.

I can't believe how petty a town can be, pretty sure that most that made an issue was woman that wished they looked so good. I'm sorry for her such a tastefull photo and you see more revieled on TV every minute of every day, are the tv members also banning tv and burning books and art?
They all need get a life and let a very nice lady live happy.
